9:07 PM Edit This 0 Comments »Madelyn decided she was ready to have her ears pierced. She took a year to think about it and decided it was time. She asked that we take her to her pediatrician to have it done and we made an appointment.
A little EMLA and some ice and we were ready...
OK...maybe we were a little nervous!!! She was actually very brave as we waited...
They drew the dots on her ears and then had 2 nurses come in to pierce both ears at one time. That was so great. I still remember having to commit to the 2nd ear...that was a bit rough!!
She seemed a little shell-shocked right after the piercing, but once she recovered, she was so happy to have jewels in her ears!!!! She picked a very pretty earring that seemed pink, but changed colors in the light.
