Saddle Up Your Horses

Madelyn took a digger and smacked a stone step with her chin. Boy did it bleed...and boy did she scream. We practiced deep breathing for relaxation on the way to Daddy's office. Unfortunately, Dermabond wouldn't be enough so we got back in the car and headed to the ER. 5 stitches and some tears later, we were heading home. This is a cute video of Maddy with topical on to numb her up. Notice the apprehension in her face. She told EVERY person that came into our room that she 'didn't want a stitch.' When the doc said she needed some stitches, her lip started quivering, tears started rolling and she said, "Please Mommy, I just want to go home." Man, talk about tearing at your heart!!!!
